【摘要】:Livefascinesareusedtoprovideerosionandsedimentationcontrolbyincreasinginfiltration,slowingorredirectingrunoff,andtrappingseedandsediments.Themethodprovidesshallowmechanicalsurfaceslopestabilization,andprovidesenhancedvaluesthroughvegetativegrowthandadditionalshallowsoilreinforcementthroughthedevelopmentoftheroots.Theabilityoflivefascinestofunctionproperlydependsonthequalityandchoiceofthematerialsusedtoconstructthelivefascine,themeansandmethodsoffabricationandinstallation,andproperconsiderationofsitecharacteristicsandtimeofyear.Forthelivefascinetofunctioncompletely,itisimportantthatthelivefascinedevelopssuitablegrowth.1.1Thispracticecoversthematerial,fabricationandinstallationworktoconstructlivefascines.1.2ThevaluesinthisstandardareinSIunitsandaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thispracticeoffersasetofinstructionsforperformingoneormorespecificoperations.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgement.Notallaspectsofthispracticemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationsofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Thewordx201C;Standardx201D;inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.1.4Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
