【摘要】:Whencokelumpsdescendintheblastfurnace,theyaresubjectedtoreactionwithcountercurrentCO2andtoabrasionastheyrubtogetherandagainstthewallsofthefurnace.Theseconcurrentprocessesphysicallyweakenandchemicallyreactwiththecokelumps,producinganexcessoffinesthatcandecreaseburdenpermeabilityandresultinincreasedcokeratesandlosthotmetalproduction.Thistestmethodisdesignedtomeasureindirectlythisbehaviorofcokeintheblastfurnace.1.1Thistestmethod,patternedaftertheNipponSteeltestprocedure,describestheequipmentandtechniquesusedfordetermininglumpcokereactivityincarbondioxide(CO2)gasatelevatedtemperaturesanditsstrengthafterreactioninCO2gasbytumblinginacylindricalchamberreferredtoasanI-tester.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
