【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatitrimetricmethodforthedeterminationoftheiodineadsorptionnumberofcarbonblacksforuseintherubberindustry.Theiodineadsorptionnumberisrelatedtothesurfaceareaofacarbonblack,andisgenerallyinagreementwiththenitrogensurfacearea.However,itissignificantlydepressedinthepresenceofahighcontentofvolatileorsolvent-extractablematerials;theiodineadsorptionnumberthereforedoesnotalwaysprovideameasureofthespecificsurfaceareaofacarbonblack.
