【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforthecorrosionresistanceofbuildinghardwarefordoors,windows,shuttersandcurtainwalling.ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesamethodofclassificationofcorrosionresistanceofbuildinghardwarebasedonperformanceinaneutralsaltspraytest(ENISO9227).ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforbothcoatedanduncoatedsurfacesandfivegradesofcorrosionresistancebeinglaiddowninaccordancewiththedifferentconditionsofusegrades1to5.Agrade0isalsoincludedforwhichnorequirementshavebeenspecified.Requirementsforlevelsofcorrosionresistancewhicharehigherthanthoselaiddownforgrade5havenotbeenincludedinthisEuropeanStandardandaresubjecttoagreementwhererequired.ThisEuropeanStandardalsoappliestothemetalfastenersrequiredforfixingbuildinghardwareifspecified.ScrewsandfasteningswhicharesoldwithahardwareproductwhichconformstothisEuropeanStandardshouldalsoconformtothisEuropeanStandard.NOTE1Theterm"grade"usedinthisEuropeanStandardcorrespondstotheterm"class"whichisusedinISOstandards.NOTE2Thereisseldomadirectrelationshipbetweenresistancetotheactionofsaltsprayandresistancetocorrosioninothermedia,becauseseveralfactorsinfluencingtheprogressofcorrosion,suchastheformationofprotectivefilms,varygreatlywiththeconditionsencountered.Therefore,thetestresultsshouldnotberegardedasadirectguidetothecorrosionresistanceofthetestedmaterialsinallenvironmentswherethesematerialsmaybeused.Also,theperformanceofdifferentmaterialsduringthetestshouldnotbetakenasadirectguidetothecorrosionresistanceofthesematerialsinservice.ThemethoddescribedinthisEuropeanStandardgivesameansofcheckingthatthecomparativequalityofamaterial,withorwithoutcorrosionprotection,ismaintained.Inaddition,forqualitycontrolpurposes,comparisoncanbemadebetweenspecimenscoatedwiththesamecoating.Ascomparativetests,however,saltspraytestsareonlysuitableifthecoatingsaresufficientlysimilarinnature.Itisoftennotpossibletouseresultsgainedfromsaltspraytestingasacomparativeguidetothelong-termbehaviourofdifferentcoatingsystemsasthecorrosionstressduringthesetestsdifferssignificantlyfromthecorrosionstressesencounteredinpractice.
